On January 25th, Xbox and Bethesda will host a Developer_Direct featuring presentations from game developers at studios such as Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios. The event will highlight major features, extended gameplay demonstrations, and the latest information for upcoming Xbox games including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

If you’re wondering why Starfield is not on the list of games, Xbox has announced that it will have a separate showcase for the game in the near future. The Elder Scrolls Online: Studio Director Matt Firor will unveil the major Chapter update for 2023 during the Developer Direct event. The update will include new regions of Tamriel that will become playable and a major new feature that will be included in the game’s biggest update of the year. Following the Developer Direct event, Zenimax Online Studios will host a standalone ESO Chapter Reveal Event, where players will be able to get in-depth information about the update.

The team at Turn 10 Studios has been working on the next generation of Forza Motorsport, specifically designed to take advantage of Xbox Series X|S. The Developer_Direct event will showcase the new Forza Motorsport and the team will reveal more gameplay and exciting details about the game.

Mojang Studios will be providing an inside look into the PvP multiplayer experience in Minecraft Legends, the upcoming action-strategy game from the creators of Minecraft, during the Developer_Direct event. Developed in collaboration with Blackbird Interactive and set to launch this spring, attendees will have the chance to see exclusive gameplay footage of the game.

Arkane Austin, the studio behind Dishonored and Prey, will be showcasing several minutes of gameplay footage from their upcoming FPS, Redfall, during the Developer_Direct event. The event will reveal both single and multiplayer gameplay and will provide a deeper look into how players can take down bloodthirsty Vampires on the picturesque island of Redfall, Massachusetts. Fans can expect to learn more about combat, customization, bosses, the open world, and more.
